Notes From February Meeting
Meeting was called to order with 12 members present. New members were voted in. Minutes from the last meeting were read adhoc. Treasurer report was presented. 2006 elections were held with 2 positions being filled by new candidates. Gene Uhler was elected Vice-President/Safety Coordinator and long time member Rod Roth accepted the position of club Secretary. Phil Pollock remains our ever diligent Club Treasurer, while I am taking on my 3rd term of insanity as president. Thank you to all of the officers for your support, we'll make 2006 a banner year!
For Old Business, Discussion about a field lease and was decided it isn't required since we have a great relationship with our landowner. New Business was discussion about our calendar of events. That will be posted in our Local & Regional Events calendar shortly. After the meeting was adjourned we had a wonderful introduction to Electric Flight program by Cliff Dow of Ft. Morgan. He had several samples of electric motors and ESC's (I learned what an ESC was! Electric Speed Controller. The club had many questions that Cliff answered smartly. It gave us all a lot to think about if and when we want to go electric. Thank you so much Cliff, we really appreciated your time and effort.
